Bring the records that help an eye consultation
Previous prescriptions and scans can help a clinician compare changes over time. For cornea or vision-correction questions, bring any topography or tomography reports you already have. Do not repeat a test solely because a webpage suggests it; the doctor decides what is useful after examining you.
Before you travel
- Carry previous eye prescriptions, scan reports and discharge summaries if available.
- Write down when symptoms began and whether they are changing.
- Confirm the clinic location and appointment time before starting your journey.
